FABOOL Software Manual
In this section, we introduce features in each page of FABOOL Software.
Go to http://fabool.smartdiys.com/ on Google Chrome or FireFox.
English version of software is now released. If you are using browser in English, the software will be shown in English automatically.
Log in with email, Facebook, or Google+, whichever you signed up with.
In this page, you can import and modify processing data, change settings of processing parameters (laser output and head speed), control start and stop.
This section explains the procedure from importing data using FABOOL Software to start operating FABOOL Laser Mini. This includes how to set parameters for each color and repeated processing by “adding path”.
Please use the following sample processing data for trial.
Download these two sample data, open ZIP files and save.
Put power cable into the machine body. Connect the machine and PC with a USB cable.
Place processing material underneath the FABOOL Laser Mini, and adjust the height with height adjustment acrylic laser head.
*If you ordered through crowdfunding, use the drawing paper or balsa wood included in the initial kit.

Click on “Create New Project” from the menu on main page, enter a name of project and click on “Create”.
Click the wheel picture on upper right on the main page to select the machine, and set the maximum processing area for x-axis and y-axis direction.

Click on “Import” in the edit toolbar in the main page and import to the canvas the sample data (1) you downloaded earlier.
Click and select the data on canvas, and move or scale it by drag&drop.
Or, while selecting the data on canvas, you can set the size, position, and more in “Settings for Objects” on the right side of the page.
Next, import sample data (2) and put it on the canvas without overlapping both images.
Click on the “Check boundary” on motion control bar to check the processing area.
Set the laser output and head speed for each data in the parameter setting, (Only for SVG it is possible to set different parameters for different colors. For DXF and other image data, you cannot set specific parameters for each color.
*Sample data (1) contains black and pink. You can make settings to not cut the black lines and but the pink line with repeated process.
For repeated process, click on “add path”. For a new path, make sure only the targeted color (in this case pink) is selected, and enter the parameter.
Click on start button to start cutting or engraving.
